Although it was a really ugly looking system they did make some fun games for it. So here's my list

mario 64
goldeneye
smash bros.
zelda: ocarina of time

I never actually owned the system. However I got almost all the stars in mario 64 on an emulator that was released a few months after the release of the n64. The games released on it just weren't able to top the fun I got from the SNES titles I have so I never felt the need to buy a n64.

Sports - mario tennis, i agree Yoshi was the best
Rpg- I actually really liked Quest 64
also Zelda and Super Smah Bros kicked a**

Perfect Dark for the win. Followed close by Smash Brothers and Golden Eye.

Only thing I didn't like about LoZ:OoT was that it felt like a rip off of LoZ:LttP as far as story progression goes. Truthfully, I applaud LoZ:MM for its innovation much more.

Paper Mario! and Starfox 64! I spent a lot of time with those games. It's fun to quote them. "It's time for some lava-walking!" "I cannot allow you to go any further." "Be careful! It's a trap!" I love being able to just spontaneously start up Starfox, and go through the game in 45 minutes. It's an energizing game, and a good way to get rid of boredom or a restless lack of motivation to do anything. Lol. Paper Mario is kind of the opposite. With the whole RPG-battle format, it's just something to sit down with all day--mostly, it's relaxing, but there are moments that'll get your heart rate up: like the Tubba Blubba chase, or some of the boss fights. It's just cool. That's really all it amounts to.

It is very hard for me to come up with a Favorite game on the 64, so out of the ones that I have,

StarFox 64 (is my most played)
Paper Mario (fun RPG)
Zelda: Ocarina of Time
automobili Lamborghini (I really enjoy this game)
F-Zero X
Beetle Adventure racing (One of the best on the system)
Star Wars Racer (I get stuck on playing the Tatooine track over and over. love that track)
Super Mario 64
WipeOut 64 (very happy to have a Wipeout game that is cart based)
San Francisco RUSH (I am a RUSH fan)
Ridge Racer 64 ( I am also a RR fan)
Bust-A-Move 2 (I love this game)

And if I do not stop here I will list most of the games that I have.

There are just a few that I have, that I feel, are real duds. I have 42 games and feel that only three are somewhat bad. Not bad odds.

For me, it's a tie between Banjo-Kazooie and Zelda OoT.

Anyone who overlooked Banjo because it looked like a kids game absolutely MUST play this masterpiece. I think it's better than Mario 64, which I LOVED... but Banjo is just spectacular. Not only is the level design pure genius, but the in-between level gameplay is phenomenal. Everything about this game just reeks of quality.

Donkey Kong 64 is my favorite. I know some people didn't like all the collecting, but I couldn't get enough of it. To date, I've played through the game (with all bananas) 7 times. Every year or so, I go through it all again.

My favorite multiplayer game is Perfect Dark. I still have my settings saved with my favorite weapons (Far-sight, RCP, Laptop gun, slayer, etc.).

I just received an old N64 console from my brother and my son (5 years old) LOVES SUPERSMASH brothers. Are there any other games out there that provide the same sort of fun as SuperSmash Brothers? Fighting theme is preferred, or similar.....
