Terranigma is considered part of a trilogy with Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia. Most of what you find on Ebay is Japanese imports, but there is also French, Spanish, German, and English versions. The English ones can be UK or Australian PAL versions but are the same except for the label and the AU ones seem to go for more money. Its not really that rare of a game, but it does go for a good price. In order to play the PAL Terranigma on a NTSC console, you only have a couple options. Terranigma is basically the hardest PAL game to have run on a NTSC console, and since there is an original English release, it is the most desirable too. The only ways to my knowledge that are PROVEN to work is a modified NTSC console to get around the regional lockout and the frequency check, or a Pro Action Replay. The Pro Action Replay (PAR) is the ONLY converter that will work and you need the right one, most of them don't work. You need the correct BIOS in a PAR2 or get a PAR3 or a programmable adapter works too. I'm currently playing Terranigma for the first time using an adapter and it was a long search to figure out what exactly I needed to make it work. Using the PAR is the easiest way and then you don't have to send your system off to get modified. You will need to remove the two plastic tabs inside the cartridge slot so the JAP/PAL style cart will fit, not a big deal and easy to do. Finding the proper PAR is difficult, but I've made it my mission to find them and make them available via Ebay. I have only a couple available for sale so keep your eyes on Ebay if you're interested because I'll have them up soon. Also I'll be trying to get a PAL Terranigma to match up the PARs as well. The other games listed by killsonic are good too, but they are all Japanese only unless you use an emulator to play the english translationed ROMS on the computer, a game copier like a Super WildCard (I also have) or a custom made cart. I like custom carts myself, you just need to find people who can make them. The Super Wildcards are pretty cool though and not too hard to use. Super Wildcard DX2 64M is probably considered the best one, lots of Game Doctor SF7 users too though.
