Help me with the title of my favourite NES-GAME

Hi there all you nintendo fans!

I have many favourite NES games, but there is one game I have forgotten the title of, and I really hope you could help me find it..

You are a little guy with a jojo at an island or something and you had balls that you threw at the "bad guys".. you fight beasts and so on.. I think the name was tropic or island or something but i just cant find it.. so now i beg you guys, please help me because im getting crazy here..

I believe "Startropics" is the game you are talking about. You play Mike who has come to visit his Uncle on an island but when you get there he is missing...

The island chief gives you a yo-yo that you can use to attack monsters. Later on you can upgrade the yo-yo and get other items (including a submarine). The play is reminicent of "The Legend of Zelda" games.

BTW: There was a sequel to that game called "Startropics II: Zoda's Revenge". Nintendo Power magazine thought it was an underrated game and should have been more popular that it was.
