Default Sleeper Hits on the N64

You know, every system has some games that are really awesome, but just don't get the attention of the public and fail to achieve financial goals. The N64 is no different; there's got to be a ton of games on the system that were good, but weren't acknowledged for it widely.

One such game was 1998's Buck Bumble, a "fly'n gun" game that was pretty badass. You control a cyborg bee named Buck Bumble and have to go through tons of tough levels in an effort to take down an evil insect empire. Sure, it's a generic story, but the story is pretty much irrelevant.

The flying in the game did take some getting used to, but it was pretty good. You also got tons of cool weapons to just mow through the bad guys with, and you'd need them, cause this game was hard. But it's just another example of just because a game is hard, doesn't mean it sucks.

You'd be hard-pressed to find Buck Bumble in a game store, and I don't know where you'd find a rom, so don't ask. But if you can get your hands on it, it's pretty awesome.

If anyone else has a sleeper N64 title they'd want to talk about, do so.

You keep watch for only giants, and you'll be eaten by ants.

Lol that game sounds good and i can fully understand what you meant when you said it was a "Sleeper" as i have never even heard of that game but you make it sound pretty quality...
Wave Race wasnt that well recieved, its a great game with all the typical retro effects you would come to expect, crazy soundtrack and multiplayer... Nout wrong with that game thou you should try it if you havnt already...
Ive just bought a mint condition copy of DOOM 64 haha, couldnt resist since i first heard of it ive wanted it, only £10.50 which for a complete mint condition game is pretty good.
Ive also just been looking at a game called Blast Corps, which is a pretty under-rated game. Solid gameplay, and its made by Rare i think which is a pretty solid company (behind Banjo-Kazooie and such)...
Im re-building my old N64 and buying tonnes of stuff for it (so far £50 spent), ive got the gold controller and lots of Memory Paks all in superb condition... Im scrapping my XBOX 360 as ive just about had enough of how much it sucks!

Buy it, use it, break it, fix it,
Trash it, change it, mail, upgrade it,
Charge it, point it, zoom it, press it,
Snap it, work it, quick erase it,
Write it, cut it, paste it, save it,
Load it, check it, quick rewrite it,
Plug it, play it, burn it, rip it,
Drag it, drop it, zip, unzip it,
Lock it, fill it, call it, find it,
View it, code it, jam, unlock it,
Surf it, scroll it, pause it, click it,
Cross it, crack it, switch, update it,
Name it, read it, tune it, print it,
Technologic...
