Even though the Gamecube was a third-place console, it still was badass. Here's my list of my top 10 Gamecube games (only one per franchise, though):
10. Ikaruga
Even though I've never touched this game, the videos of this SHMUP speak wonders. This game is freaking insanity! I dunno how some of the pros manage to beat it. But along with its innovations, it has a badass soundtrack, great visuals, and it's soon to come out on Xbox Live. I keep it at #10 since I've never played it, and because I'd never beat it.
9. Battalion Wars
Sure it came in late, but this game was straight out fun. The guys of the Advance Wars franchise made a great game out of Battalion Wars with nice graphics, excellent gameplay design, and pretty funny characters that acted like they were in a comic book or 30's B-movie. It was too bad it had limited options and no multiplayer, and that holds it back from a higher spot.
8. Super Mario Sunshine
You're saying "WHAT?!" at why Mario only made #8. I'm not saying Super Mario Sunshine is bad. It's great, but it just wasn't as good as Super Mario 64. Even so, it had very nice visuals, interesting mechanics, nice music, and did I mention it was Mario?! The biggest thing that held it back, however, was Mario's attempt at story in a platformer kinda drowned...
7. Pikmin
Though you'll probably say Pikmin 2 is better, I cannot say no to the original. When I first played this game, I was blown away by the intricacies of its gameplay and the AI of the Pikmin. Top that with good music and tons of variety, and you have a winner. I held it back, however, since it has slightly limited replay value.
6. F-Zero GX
Holy crap! This game is crazy! And I mean crazy HARD! But that makes it good. F-Zero GX is easily the hardest game on the Gamecube (if not Ikaruga), and will really test your reflexes. Plus you get the ability to customize your own vehicle and get a look into the background of some of the F-Zero cast. This all comes along with kickass music. Too bad the campaign cutscenes were so lame, but thankfully you can skip them. Don't try this if you're a lightweight.
5. Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader
My first Gamecube game. When my brothers and I first sat down and played this, we were left speechless by its visuals, finding it even better than the movies. And this game is straight out fun. It's just the right difficulty, you get a ton of various ships to pilot (my favorite is the Naboo Starfighter), and you get to play in some of the greatest battles in Star Wars. Awesomeness.
4. Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
People are gonna disagree with me on this one, but I call it as I see it. Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is a phenomenal game. Its music (though still midi) is great, its characters are very colorful, and the story is deep (and continues into Radiant Dawn). What I don't like, however, is how reviewers panned its story; they just don't realize it was made for a Japanese audience. But story aside, it has all the Fire Emblem staples: excellent strategy-based gameplay, high difficulty, and nice visuals. I hold it back, however, to the next three obvious winners.
3. Resident Evil 4
I'll be honest: I've never played this game, but I can't leave it off the list without getting a lot of heat for it. This game looks freaking nasty, and I imagine I'd have nightmares from playing it. The bosses and enemies look absolutely terrifying, which is to be expected from a Resident Evil game. I leave it at #3 since I like the next two games more.
2. Super Smash Bros. Melee
Is there really anything that needs to be said about Melee? It was a console seller title, and it rocks! It's the only fighting game I've ever been able to have at least some skill at, and its had a long run since its release. Even though Brawl is soon gonna replace it, I have to give this game credit for its variety. If you don't have Melee, you don't have a Gamecube. And in my honest opinion, there's only one other game that beats it on the Gamecube...
1. Metroid Prime
Going from 2D to 3D was either going to propel Samus' career into the stratosphere, or destroy it. Fortunately, it blew everyone away. The controls are slick, the music is amazing, the visuals are phenomenal even today, and its got all the Metroid staples. Retro Studios took a risk, and it paid off. I absolutely love this game, and can't wait to get my hands on Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, once I get a Wii (and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, of course).
That's my list.
You keep watch for only giants, and you'll be eaten by ants.

I enjoyed those games, however I am the kind of person who enjoys a little thinking in the gameplay, while at the same time enjoying the glory of 3d graphics

TaylorMade R9 Irons
TaylorMade R9 IronsThis irons are every related to performance. Now I am not saying preparing to arrive over with the titleist 2010 ap2 irons a poor issue belonging to the commercials combined with claim that they are guaranteed to add 15 yards but what they provide is superb distance possibly on strikes nowhere near that sweet spot. If that you're also a golfer, you may do a little snooping around their golfing bag and the ping rapture v2 irons you play golfing together. Do they've grooves on their wedges? Are they unhappy with their Driver? ishiner
