Hey guys,

I was getting some nintendo withdrawals so I went out and picked up a N64, grabbed a bunch of games I remember I loved and got to work on em!

Problem is with South Park Rally. I cannot save the game for the life of me. Or perhaps it saves, and I cannot load. I don't know. All I know is, I'll play through the first 5 levels, save. Then quit and load it back up again. Both save and load seem to be successful. But when I click championship to play again, it starts me back on the first level. Every time.

I have no problem saving Zelda. It seems to be just South Park.

Any help is greatly apriciated.

The sound, there is just one problem i having, when you start at the beginning and get to the gun shop, you can't really hear the CPU on the PJ64K. Is there any plugin that could probably fix this or is there anything i have to delete?

Has anyone been able to play Conker's Bad Fur Day on an iBook G4 or any other pre-Intel Mac? I've downloaded at least four ROMs of the game, and I'm using Mupen64. Each time, the "For Mature Audiences Only" warning and Nintendo logo load fine, but after that I get nothing but random, glitched polygons and garbled noise. The only other N64 emulator that runs on the Mac is Sixtyforce, whose website flat out states that BFD doesn't work on that emulator. I've also tried the ROM in .n64, .v64 and .z64 formats, and none worked on Mupen64.

Hello Nintendo fans, I'm having an issue with my nintendo 64 console and my memory. I like many of yous played the nintendo 64 relentlessly in my younger days. Recently I have had an urge to play some of the greatest classics in history and I have successfully found my 64. However, I have no games and cannot determine if my nintendo 64 unit is working or not. I would like to fully ensure that it is working before I invest in buying and building a collection of games. My Question Sums up to the following:

"If no games are inserted, and everything is wired correctly will any sort of menu/logo appear or will the screen simply stay blank." I realize certain people would consider this a stupid question however it has been about 10 years since I have played with my nintendo 64 and cannot remember what happens if no games are inserted in the slot. The red light appears indicating everything should be working correctly however the screen stays blank. I think my T.V is set up to the right channel. Hopefully someone will take the time to answer this question and save me countless hours or reasoning.

Thanks in Advance,

As of this point in time, what would be the best solution for obtaining a flash cartridge?

I just got a N64 from my job. I clean out donation bins and anything that isn't clothes gets either kept by the driver, or thrown out.

Until now, the old drivers were throwing out top-loaders, NES, SNES, Genesis, PS2, XBOX, Atari 2600, Gameboy, and all kinds of retro junk. Even 8-tracks, and 78s. VHS, and Beta Max.

We even snag cool shit, like brand new portable DVD players, and giant universal remotes.

We call these epic finds, treasures from the bins.

I just snagged me whole child-hood of N64 games in a whole shift. (Goldeneye, Conker, Banjo, San Fransisco Rush, Rush 2049, Perfect Dark, Rainbow six, and Jetforce Gemini)

So, that being said: I remember my brother having this big orange cartridge with Super Mario 64 sticking out the back of it, and it could play ROM images he got off BBS'.

Anything like that now?
