super nintendo not working properly scrambled graphics

Hello. Thanks for stopping bye. I have a problem with my Super Nintendo. It was working perfectly fine until i stored it away for a couple of months and i decided to play it today. Everything sounds and look right at the beginning loading up until i get to the menu screen or start playing. The graphics of the character or words look scrambled. The background will look fine the but enemies/character are messed up. This happens to all my games so im thinking its the console. Ive tried cleaning the cartridges with some light alcohol and making sure the connection are in properly but still nothing fixes it. I have attached a photo to show you what i mean. Mega man is scrambled and so is an enemy but the background and music are fine. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Please can someone provide me with some Secret of Mana cheat codes that actually work in Snes9x? I've tried about 3 different versions of the ROM and none of the game genie or AR codes posted on the entire Internet seem to work.

I'm an awesome girlfriend (or so i keep telling myself) and my boyfriends birthday is just over a month away. He plays a lot of online games and his keyboard well, it's in sad, sad shape. most of the characters are rubbed off. he plays games like dark-orbit. so if anybody can tell me what to not buy and/or a good one for gaming is, i would be so appreciative. its a surprise so i don't wanna get something he wont use or enjoy or will worst case be uncomfortable. cause that's no fun for anybody! :think: im the female equivalent of a male! i want some d for this! mad mad d!

My Super Nintendo On A Projector - 80 Inch Screen

Today I thought it would be a good idea to hook up my super nintendo to my projector and play my favourite games :) The screen size was 80 inches and looked quite good. I took a video of the setup to show you guys. Enjoy :)

Hi SNES Fans. Good news, Today I have learned that a game is currently in development and is set to be released sometime in 2013 on the super nintendo system!!!

Brandon Cobb Presendant of Super Fighter Team has sent an e-mail to everyone on there mailing list advising them that they are developing a new super nintendo game called "Nightmare Busters" which is due for release in 2013.

They have a 600 copy pre-order limit for Nightmare Busters which has been reached already, but you can join there mailing list @ http://www.nightmarebusters.com for further updates when more copys will become available.

I've been trying to figure out its name for ages.
Here's what I remember:
It's a side scroller.
You use guns.(lasers I believe)
It features some snail like alien things as enemies.(not exclusively, but that's the only enemy I remember)
I think you can hang on ledges.
It's sort of a combo between contra and ninja gaiden.
I think you're on a spaceship most of the time.

For some reason, whenever I think of it I am reminded of Arnold Schwarzenegger, but that maybe unrelated.
I'm not sure it was on snes, but it was on one of those old consoles.

It isn't Turrican or metal warriors, but it does look somewhat similar to those games.

Hi guys. I've never really got into emulation so this would be the first time to try something like this out. I'm 23 years old so it's pretty clear that I've experienced some of the old SNES games first hand when they were new. I played the NES too growing up but each game was about 5-10 years old when I did. I play many hardcore games today but I joined this site and download some of these classics because I like to stay in touch with the roots. I'm a fan of history, and the video game industry is no exception. ;)

Snes graphics problem

I just got my Snes out of storage and it seemed to be working fine until i noticed a graphics problem. Characters look all choppy, doesn't matter what game. I've never noticed it in the past, maybe its because i'm playing on a hd tv? Pics below. Any help is appreciated. :)

Hi, I am new to playing on Snes and I need some help. I downloaded the Snes9x emulator on my Macbook Lion osx. I also downloaded Final Fantasy VI (III Japanese), but I can't get past the intro..it just keeps playing over and over! Am I missing something here..do I need to press a button to get it to start?? :shifty:
